Lev leads PwC’s M&A Integration (“IMO”) and M&A Separation (“SMO”) consulting solutions.  Specializing in untangling the complexities of cross-border deals, he has assisted clients across a variety of industries to deliver on their deal value promise.  Lev exudes high, magnetic energy engaging the best of people to develop and deliver efficient bespoke solutions on unique and challenging deals.

He is also the co-leader, together with his CEE based partner Emmanuel Koenig, of PwC’s Rebuild Ukraine Global Task Force which has the aim to bring the best of PwC’s global capabilities to participate in rebuild of the “new” Ukraine.   Lev primary focus includes building the most effective private sector alliances to accelerate an efficient rebuild, helping investors understand and navigate the reconstruction landscape, and assist clients on operating in Ukraine.

Globally credentialed, Lev has delivered tangible value to his clients’ bottom line on projects in more than 28 countries on three continents.  From 2008-2012 Lev led PwC’s merger and acquisition integration services across Central and East Europe, from his base in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 2000-2001 he served multinational clients as a Senior Manager on the PwC M&A team in London, England.  Lev sold and designed process control systems for factories with the Reliance Electric Company from 1990-1992, and transitioned to his consulting career in E&Y’s Supply Chain practice from 1994 until 1997 when he joined PwC.

Lev, who is bilingual Ukrainian/English, earned a BS in Physics from John Carroll University and an MBA in Management of Organizations from Columbia University.  He has authored numerous articles and has spoken at U.S. and European conferences on topics related to making deals successful and leveraging an acquisition to transform a business.

A sports junkie, Lev attempts to keep his football (i.e., soccer) skills sharp whenever possible, and passionately follows the game.  Lev enjoys running explore, relax and maintain fitness, collecting GPS maps of his longer runs in each of the states and countries where he travels for work or pleasure.

Lev needs to keep fit, as his active sixteen year old twins keep him on his toes!
