USUBC was established by 20 US companies like ADM, Cargill, Bunge, Westinghouse, FMS, Boeing, and others to help US businesses develop their presence in Ukraine. The USUBC is established by businesses, managed by the business community, and works for businesses.
USUBC opened an office in Kyiv, Ukraine.
USUBC expanded to 50 members.
USUBC became an entry point for US companies interested in doing business in Ukraine and for Ukrainian companies interested in doing business in the USA.
USUBC expanded to include over 70 companies. USUBC actively attracted international investments to Ukraine in areas such as agriculture, IT, energy, and others.
Morgan Williams was elected as CEO and President of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council
USUBC expanded to include 160 companies. Investments in Ukraine were booming.
USUBC initiated the "Invest in Ukraine" campaign, aimed at promoting investment opportunities across various sectors including infrastructure and manufacturing.
USUBC became the largest pro-Ukraine pro-defense business association.
USUBC hosted Ukrainian agrarian congress in Washington D.C.
USUBC fostered bilateral trade relations and facilitated networking opportunities for businesses from both countries.
USUBC celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century of fostering economic cooperation between the United States and Ukraine through advocacy, networking, and investment promotion efforts.
In response to the escalating conflict in Ukraine, USUBC launched the "Rebuild Ukraine" initiative, providing financial assistance, resources, and strategic support to businesses affected by the Russian invasion.
USUBC collaborated with international aid organizations and government agencies to facilitate humanitarian aid distribution to communities impacted by the conflict in Ukraine. USUBC intensified efforts to support Ukrainian businesses by facilitating increased exports through targeted trade missions, market research, and export promotion initiatives. USUBC hosted the US-Ukraine Defence Industrial base forum in partnership with the NSC, US Department of Defence, State and Commerce.
USUBC shifted its focus towards supporting Ukraine's armed forces and spearheading reconstruction and rebuilding efforts in conflict-affected regions. Alongside these efforts, USUBC continued to identify and promote financial opportunities for Ukraine, fostering investment and facilitating economic growth in the country's emerging sectors.
